2. What this notice covers
This notice applies to anyone who visits purobarber.com and its pages, including the directory, the forum and the videos. Use of accounts is also governed by the Terms and Conditions, and the processing of personal data by the Privacy Notice.
3. Site information
The information on this site, the blog and the videos is general. It is not tax, accounting, employment or legal advice. We try to keep it up to date, but before making a decision, consult a professional.
4. Directory, reviews and forum
- Each barbershop and barber decides what to publish on their profile: services, prices, hours, photos and contact details. That content is the sole responsibility of whoever publishes it. The service is always provided by the barbershop or barber, not by Syatek.
- Reviews and forum posts are the opinions of their authors and do not represent Syatek's opinion.
- Syatek does not review content before it is published and is not responsible for its accuracy or for the acts of whoever publishes it. If you have a complaint about a service, contact the barbershop; you may also go to the Mexican Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) or the consumer authority of your country.
5. Intellectual property
The software, texts, videos, design, logos and the PuroBarber and Syatek trademarks are protected by Mexican copyright and industrial property laws. They may not be copied, modified or used for commercial purposes without written authorization. Each barbershop's trademarks, photos and texts belong to it or its licensors.
6. Notices of infringing or unlawful content
If you believe any content published on the site (a profile, photo, review or forum post) infringes your copyright or trademarks, is defamatory or is unlawful, write to [email protected] with:
- your name and contact details or, if you act on someone's behalf, the document proving it;
- the content and the exact address (URL) where it appears;
- the right you believe is infringed or why it is unlawful, with supporting documents;
- a statement, under oath, that the information is correct.
We will review it and, if appropriate, promptly remove or hide the content and notify whoever published it, who may respond with a counter-notice and evidence. If the counter-notice is valid, we may restore the content unless the person who filed the notice proves they started proceedings before the authority within the period set by the Mexican Federal Copyright Law. We cancel the accounts of repeat infringers. Syatek is not required to monitor content published by third parties.
7. Links to other sites
Links to third-party sites, such as maps, WhatsApp or YouTube, are included for convenience. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.
8. Governing law
This notice is governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States. The courts of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the rights the law grants to consumers. If the Spanish and English versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.
